About This Project
The Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project, located in Virginia, USA, is a landmark infrastructure development aimed at improving more than 22 miles of the I-66 corridor.
Spearheaded by FAM Construction, a joint venture between Ferrovial Construction and Allan Myers, this is one of the largest public-private partnership (PPP) projects in the region. Key improvements include:
- Construction of two express lanes in each direction.
- Upgrades to general-purpose lanes.
- New interchanges, bridges, and overpasses.
- Enhanced access for pedestrians and cyclists.
- Integration of smart traffic management systems and intelligent infrastructure.
