A Strategic Section of the Mediterranean High-Speed Corridor

Protecnium is proud to be part of the Pulpí–Vera section of the Murcia–Almería High-Speed Rail Line, a key infrastructure project led by Ferrovial, which represents a major advancement in the development of the Mediterranean Corridor.

This high-speed rail section spans approximately 25.7 kilometers, and is designed to support the next generation of railway mobility offering improved travel times, greater regional connectivity, and a firm step toward more sustainable and integrated transport infrastructure in southern Spain.

As a critical component of the Mediterranean High-Speed Corridor, this project connects the Levante region with the national high-speed rail network, providing long-term benefits for mobility, tourism, trade, and regional cohesion.

Since May 2024, Protecnium has been actively involved in the execution phase of the project, contributing one of its highly skilled field surveyors to support on-site operations.

Our specialist is responsible for precise topographical measurements, route staking, and geometric control, ensuring that construction aligns with the exact technical specifications required for a high-speed rail line.
