Quality Engineer for Tunnel Construction Project in London, UK
Are you experienced in precast concrete and looking for an opportunity in international infrastructure?
Protecnium, a global consulting company specialized in engineering and technical services, is hiring a Quality Engineer for a major tunnel construction project in the South London area (UK).
Job Overview
As a Quality Engineer, you will oversee the manufacturing of precast concrete segments for a tunnel being constructed with Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) technology. You will work closely with factory and project teams to ensure all quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
•Check the quality of the concrete segments during production at the factory.
•Make sure the segments meet all project and quality standards.
•Inspect the segments (visually and dimensionally) before they are sent to the construction site.
•Review test results for concrete strength and other key properties.
•Report any quality problems and help find solutions.
•Work closely with the factory team and project quality staff.
•Prepare simple reports about inspections and quality checks.
Candidate Requirements:
• Around 4 years of experience as a Quality Engineer with precast concrete, ideally in tunnel segment production.
• Knowledge of concrete quality control processes.
• TBM project experience is a strong advantage.
• Basic English required for technical and industrial communication.
