Job Offer: Senior Planner for Metro Line Infrastructure Project in Oslo, Norway

Company Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Planner for a metro line infrastructure project in Oslo, Norway.

Position Details:

•Location: Oslo, Norway (100% on-site)

•Project Type: Metro Line Infrastructure

•Estimated Duration: 12 months (with the possibility of reassignment to future projects)

•Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1 hour for lunch)

Responsibilities

•Create and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

•Collaborate with engineering teams, site managers, and other departments to obtain and validate scheduling inputs.

•Identify critical paths, key milestones, and areas of risk.

•Update physical progress and generate weekly/monthly progress reports.

•Analyze schedule deviations and recommend corrective actions.

•Conduct what-if analysis and support decision-making for change management.

•Participate in planning and coordination meetings.

•Ensure schedules align with client requirements and contractual standards.

Candidate Profile

•Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

•At least 10 years of experience in planning for infrastructure projects (metro projects preferred).

•Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

•Strong skills in team coordination and cross-functional communication.

•Ability to anticipate scheduling risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
