Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Contract Type: Fixed-term (10 months, with possibility of project continuity).
Working Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week).
Start Date: Immediate.
Protecnium, an international firm specializing in engineering and technical services, is hiring a Survey Coordinator to join a high-speed rail infrastructure project in Birmingham.
This is a great chance to work abroad on a flagship transportation project, with opportunities for long-term collaboration.
• Coordinate and supervise on-site surveying operations, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and health & safety regulations.
• Liaise with third-party building representatives, engineering teams, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections, ensure accurate data reporting, and support quality assurance.
• Facilitate communication across multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid work environment.
• At least 10 years of experience in surveying or infrastructure projects, with a minimum of 5 years in the UK.
• Proven track record in urban infrastructure projects (mandatory). Experience in rail or high-speed rail is a strong advantage.
• Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
• English language fluency (C1 level minimum).
• Valid CSCS card is required.
• SMSTS certification is highly valued.
• Familiarity with surveying or construction software is considered a plus.
• Travel expenses covered at the beginning and end of the assignment.
• Two weeks of paid accommodation at project start.
• Flexible location: work from London (corporate office) with travel to Birmingham covered, or full-time in Birmingham.
