Protecnium in Railway Maintenance: Participation in the MIV East – Lot 5 (Albacete) Project

Protecnium is proud to have contributed to the UTE MIV Este – Lot 5 (Albacete) project, a key contract focused on the maintenance of Spain’s railway infrastructure. A strategic initiative with a clear objective: ensuring the safety, reliability, and continuity of the rail network.

The project involves comprehensive track maintenance activities, including asset preservation, geometry corrections, renewal of railway components, and critical operations required to keep infrastructure running efficiently in one of the country’s busiest rail corridors.

Within this framework, Protecnium supported the project through the deployment of a field surveyor, providing on-site expertise for essential topographic works. From accurate data collection to supporting day-to-day site operations, this role contributed to maintaining the technical standards required in railway maintenance projects of this scale.
